What is the fund for?
The ‘School Uniform Fund’ is designed to help our members and adherents who have
children attending primary or secondary school and are in receipt of free school meals,
and wish to purchase items of school uniform from our local uniform supplier Hewitts of
Croydon. The School Uniform Fund has been established and approved by NTCG West
Croydon Leadership team, as part of our wider community outreach provision.
How to apply?
Applicants should complete the online application form and send it to
schooluniform@ntcgwc.org with school uniform application typed in the subject
heading. Only parents/carers who are currently in receipt of free school are eligible to
apply. Therefore you must send a scanned copy of proof (letter) confirming you are
eligible for free school meals. This must be attached and sent with your completed
application. Evidence provided with your application will be treated with the
strictest confidence and will be administered in line with GDPR protocols.
Purchasing uniform
Once your application has been approved, you will be notified by email and will be able
to collect your uniform voucher for £50 from church. Details of who and when to collect
your voucher will be given in the email sent to you. Please note, the £50 voucher is only
redeemable at Hewitts of Croydon, and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.
If you have children in both primary and secondary school, then you must make a
separate application for your child/children in primary or secondary school. Therefore
irrespective of the number of children in a family, only one application can be made for
those attending primary school and one for those attending secondary school.
How to Donate
The ‘School Uniform Fund’ relies on donations from members and friends of NTCG West
Croydon . As a result the total amount contained in the Fund will vary and will be limited.
Donors can contribute to the Fund at any time, NTCG West Croydon Trustees has full
control of administrating the Fund. Donations can be made payable to ‘NatWest
Community Account’ all funds will be placed in the School Uniform Fund.

donated funds and agreed to support this community outreach provision.
