There are several facets to the Family Life Ministry. We help to celebrate those reaching special occasions, whether it be the birth of a child (baby dedication), a milestone birthday/anniversary or the celebration of a loved ones life.
The FLM organises 2-3 social events during the year. One of the favourites is our Family Day/Picnic in the Park, which promotes socialising and fellowship outside the church building environment. We deem this to be very important and necessary to build friendships/relationships.
In the future, with the spirit of family in mind, we also plan to visit those who are ‘shut-in’ and unable to leave their homes, those in care homes and hospitals. We also aim to support parents with young children and the bereaved. The heart of our ministry is evangelism.
